October Swim Camp

Expert coaching for swimmers aged 10 – 17, led by olympian and former commonwealth & world champion swimmer Hannah Miley

Our ISA October Swim Camp offers an inspiring opportunity for dedicated young swimmers to refine their technique and elevate their performance. We provide the world-class coaching, state-of-the-art facilities, and expert guidance needed to help every athlete thrive, reach their competitive potential, and develop as a confident swimmer.

Launching for October 2026 alongside ISA Swimming, Scotland’s first integrated school-based competitive swim club programme, this week-long camp is run in association with three-time Olympian Hannah Miley. Open to club swimmers from across the region, the camp provides expert instruction designed to help athletes achieve their personal goals during the October half-term break.

Hannah is a triple Olympian, World, European and Commonwealth Champion and one of Britain’s most decorated individual medley swimmers. With a career defined by relentless determination and world-class performances, Hannah continues to inspire the next generation of swimmers to reach their full potential.   Hannah  represented Great Britain at the 2008 Beijing, 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympic Games, was Double Commonwealth Gold Medallist in the 400m Individual Medley and a World Champion in 2012 as well. 

What's Included

Athlete Centred Coaching
Learn directly from Hannah Miley supported by experienced coaches and team to support throughout the camp

Understanding the Water
A unique focus on floating, balance, body position and learning how to move with the water rather than against it. Swimmers will develop greater body awareness, control and feel in the water to improve confidence and efficiency.

Land Training
Athlete development sessions led by professionals, focusing on movement quality, sport-specific strength and conditioning, injury prevention, activation and swimming-specific athletic development.

Performance Behaviours & Athlete Mindset
Learn the habits and behaviours that support long-term success in sport, including preparation, consistency, resilience, confidence and training with purpose.

Nutrition & Recovery Guidance
Practical guidance on fuelling for performance, hydration, recovery and building healthy habits to support both training and competition.

Team Building & Confidence Development
Activities designed to build communication, self-belief and a positive team environment, helping swimmers feel supported both in and out of the pool.

Goal Setting & Race Preparation
Helping swimmers understand how to prepare mentally and physically for training and competition, including routines, planning and race strategies.

Ask the Olympian
Hear first hand experiences from Hannah’s Journey as an Olympian and learn what it takes to perform at the highest level.

Who is the camp for?

This camp is designed for swimmers aged 10–17 who train and compete regularly and are looking to develop their skills and performance.

It is best suited to swimmers competing at District/County level and above, who are comfortable taking part in structured training sessions.

Camp Details

The camp will run from Monday 12th – Friday 16th October at the ISA campus in Pitfodels. The cost is £395 with all meals and snacks included.

Monday will be a half day, running 1pm – 4.30pm. Tuesday – Thursday are full days 8am – 4pm. Friday will finish with a half day, running 8am – 12noon.
