Last semester where our Preschool and Elementary students and teachers put together a dance to the viral song ‘Jerusalema’.

The dance challenge to the African hit was started by the Angolan dance troupe, Fenómenos do Semba and soon had people of all ages around the world joining in – including Policemen in Switzerland, Priests in Europe, and Zookeepers in Africa!

Our students worked on the dance challenge in music and drama class throughout the semester, as a way of brining the children ‘together’ when we were not allowed to sing, but were allowed to dance.

We were delighted to take part in the viral challenge to spread the message of ‘hope’ condensed in the single word ‘Jerusalema’ around the world.
