ISA is looking for a suitably qualified Psychology teacher to join its teaching team.
We prioritise relationships and care, in an inclusive setting. Flexibility in teaching assignments will be expected, but the main teaching will be in high school for higher level Psychology courses. Inquiry-based instruction will be differentiated to meet student needs across the learning continuum. The teacher will also be required to develop, review and revise planning in the School’s curriculum mapping tool (currently Atlas Rubicon), aligning to the school’s guiding statements in lessons and assessment.
The teacher will also be a morning advisor, participate in professional development and the after-school activities and global citizenship week programme. They will establish and maintain positive relationships with other members of the school staff, showing strong collaborative skills, and communicate effectively with parents. They will attend relevant meetings and support the building of a strong sense of community at the school. Participation in parent conferences, curriculum review activities and professional development days is expected of all faculty.
