Sport
Whether you’re a beginner wanting to try something new or a seasoned athlete, our “sport for all” approach means everyone can get involved. Our amazing facilities are used by all our students; our youngest Preschool learners develop their coordination, Elementary students enjoy favourites like gymnastics and hockey, and Middle and High Schoolers can take it to the next level by competing in international tournaments.
Students can join teams for seasonal sports including football, volleyball, basketball and tennis, or enjoy swimming all year round. We also love to mix it up with unique activities like ultimate frisbee, rollerblading and circus skills! No matter how they participate, every student learns valuable life lessons in teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship.

Visual and performing arts
Creativity and self-expression flourish at every age at ISA. From our youngest students in Preschool exploring textures and colours to our senior students curating their own exhibitions, there’s a place for every artist to thrive. Our visual arts clubs cater to all interests, whether it’s the relaxed fun of ‘Doodle Club’ and crochet or developing skills in mediums like watercolour painting.
On the stage, the spotlight shines just as brightly. Students can join our lively Production Club to act, sing, and dance, or get hands-on with the Theatre Tech crew, learning to master the soundboard and lighting. For musicians, our acclaimed Jazz Band offers a chance to perform, and students can also take private music lessons with our talented visiting tutors to hone their skills on a specific instrument.

Clubs and activities
From 3-4pm every day, our campus buzzes with a huge range of free clubs and activities, all led by our talented and dedicated staff. There’s something to spark every imagination and a chance for everyone to try something new.
For our Elementary School students, popular choices include Craft Club, Spanish Dance, and of course, creative play with LEGO. Our Gardening Club is also a huge hit, with students proudly showing off their homegrown plants and vegetables at the annual plant sale. In Middle and High School, you’ll find students challenging each other in Chess Club, designing in Coding Club, or scaling our climbing wall. It’s also a time for trying new things, with unique options like rag rug making, ukulele and Warhammer clubs.
One of the best features of our programme is the opportunity for older students to lead clubs for our younger learners.

Learning Labs
Our Learning Labs offer a quiet, supportive space for students who want some extra help after school. This is a great opportunity to get targeted support with homework, either generally or for a specific subject. Students can also join Study Skills clubs to get organised and learn effective revision techniques.
A very popular part of our Learning Labs is the Home Languages programme. To help students stay connected to their mother tongue, we bring in specialist tutors for a wide variety of languages, from Arabic and French to Russian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
